Welcome to the OnTiv blog
· 1 min read
OnTiv is a free, browser-based IPTV player. You bring your own M3U playlist or provider login, and OnTiv gives you a fast, clean way to watch it on the web, on Windows and on Android. We are a player, not a provider: we don't create, host, sell or recommend any channels or playlists.
This blog is where we will share what is changing in the player and why.
What you will find here
- Release notes. New features and fixes, in plain language, with what changed and where to find it.
- Notes from behind the player. How OnTiv is built, what we measured, and the trade-offs we made. When a decision costs something, we will say so.
- Product thinking. Why a feature works the way it does, including the things we chose not to build.
We will post when there is something worth saying, not on a schedule.
Where to find everything else
- New to playlists or the program guide? The guides walk through M3U files, Xtream Codes, the EPG, installing on a TV and fixing playback problems.
- Questions about pricing and what is free? The FAQ covers it.
- Want to know how your data is handled? Read how OnTiv handles your data or the full Privacy Policy.
